At the occasion of the sixth round of the TCR Italy, two Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR by Romeo Ferraris will be on track at Vallelunga. The circuit near Rome will see Luigi Ferrara pursue his fight for the title, as he’s currently third in the overall standings with 78 points and 3 wins (at Imola and Misano). Alongside the V-Action entered car, which has taken part to all rounds of the series, there will be another Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR built by the Opera-based maker, which will be entrusted to a world-level contender. Team Mulsanne is debuting in the home series, with Kevin Ceccon, the 24-year-old from Bergamo who has debuted in the WTCR at the Slovakiaring and will finish the world series’ season alongside Fabrizio Giovanardi. For Ceccon, it will be a ‘first time’ in an Italian championship, and the young gun sees the Vallelunga outing as an excellent opportunity to prepare his remaining WTCR commitments.

Michela Cerruti, Romeo Ferraris Operations Manager
“I am confident that Kevin and Gigi will be in a position to extract all the potential of our Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR, and Romeo Ferraris’ personnel will be at Vallelunga to support its customer teams. For Kevin, it will be useful to be back at the wheel of the car two months after his debut in Slovakia, while Gigi is ready to defend his chances in the final sprint of the championship”.
