Romeo Ferraris participated at the 2022 edition of Automotoretrò, the relevant show dedicated to historic motorsport that took place at the Lingotto Fiere Center in Turin from April 28th to May 1st. The Opera-based company has participated in both a static and dynamic way, with a fleet of cars that highlighted its activities as a dealership and as an independent manufacturer.

Inside the stand were displayed the Morgan Plus Four, Morgan Plus Four Le Mans 62, Morgan Plus Six and Caterham 485R models, manufactured by the two historic British brands of which Romeo Ferraris is dealer and, regarding the Malvern manufacturer, exclusive importer for Italy. Visitors of Automotoretrò were able to closely admire the details and characteristics of these cars, which combine timeless design with first-rate performances thanks to their low weight.

With a Morgan Plus Four, capable of covering 0-100 km/h in just 4”8 and reaching a top speed of 240 km/h, Romeo Ferraris celebrated its class success at the XIII historical re-enactment of the Milan-Sanremo Cup, that took place between March 31st and April 2nd.

A Morgan Plus Four and a Caterham 485 CSR were also made available in the outdoor area for test drives, allowing the visitors to experience first-hand the remarkable dynamic skills of the cars. For the test drives, Romeo Ferraris also brought to Automotoretrò the road FatFive, an homologated version of the racing prototype that represented the company's first project as a manufacturer. An experience that allowed to lay the foundations for the birth of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR by Romeo Ferraris, that in these last years was able to win races in numerous international series and in the FIA WTCR World Championship, and of the Giulia ETCR, currently fielded in the innovative tourism championship for fully electric cars.

Michela Cerruti, Romeo Ferraris Operations Manager
"We participated with great pleasure at this edition of Automotoretrò in Turin, an event that is a must for all car lovers. The Morgans and Caterham models that we have displayed have attracted a great deal of interest from visitors, because these are cars for really passionate enthusiasts. They’re cars that offer unique driving pleasure and it was nice to have a Morgan Plus Four and a Caterham 485 CSR also available for test drives in the outdoor area, to give at least a taste of their characteristics. We also wanted to bring the FatFive, a flagship model for us, which started the activity of Romeo Ferraris as an actual manufacturer capable of carrying out a project independently, with remarkable performance, attention to detail and an aesthetic of strong appeal. We look forward to being present at other exhibition events to make our company better known to the public".
