Great success for the third Romeo Ferraris Experience in Vallelunga

The activities of Romeo Ferraris continue beyond the commitments of the racing department. On the occasion of the home race in Vallelunga of the FIA ETCR which took place from 22 to 24 July, the already rich program of races was enhanced with numerous collateral initiatives that saw the Opera-based company center-stage, allowing to give a comprehensive overview of the activities in which they are engaged.
The "Piero Taruffi" racetrack was the scene of the third Romeo Ferraris Experience, the second on the track and the first in support of a competitive event, the "Vallelunga World Weekend". Customers, but also accredited journalists, guests and enthusiasts in the paddock were able to experience the thrill of driving the Caterham 485 CSR and the Toyota Yaris GR on the track: for the legendary English brand, Romeo Ferraris is the official importer and dealer for Italy, while for the Japanese hot hatch it has created a dedicated a specific kit, which further enhances the car performance.
On Friday afternoon the Romeo Ferraris hospitality welcomed over 300 guests, media and partners for the apéritif set up in collaboration with Delitaly, an appreciated catering service specialized in motorsport, and with Tenuta Montemagno, a reference in the wine sector. The Asti-based company supplied the champagne for the celebrations on the podium of FIA ETCR and FIA WTCR, the championships promoted by Discovery Sport Events. The tasting of Italian food and wine products took place in a friendly atmosphere and in music.
Romeo Ferraris hospitality also opened its doors to FIA ETCR guests of Goodyear, the official tire supplier for the championship. Luca Filippi, driver of the team, performed the hot laps on the track with the selected guests, and team principal Michela Cerruti also showed her experience as a professional driver by bringing the guests to the track in an electric Audi e-tron. Filippi and teammate Giovanni Venturini, as home competitors on the FIA ETCR grid, also participated in the "meet and greet" session at the VIP Club area in the Discovery Events hospitality, organizer of the championship.
For Filippi, the first commitment on the agenda had already been set on the eve, attending the press conference to launch the race together with Daniele Leodori and Valentina Corrado, respectively Vice-president and Councilor for Tourism of the Lazio Region, local authorities, as well as Carlo Alessi, president of ACI Vallelunga SpA.
During the weekend, the team's pits were also visited by over 400 young people enrolled in the summer camps of the Lazio Region and holders of the Lazio Youth Card, who were able to closely observe the work of engineers and mechanics on the Giulia ETCRs entered in the car electric touring car championship.

Michela Cerruti, Romeo Ferraris Operations Manager
"At Vallelunga for Romeo Ferraris it was like living two weekends in one, if not more: on the one hand we faced the FIA ETCR appointment, confirming the speed potential of our technical package, but in parallel we set up and collaborated on numerous accompanying initiatives, which met with high approval and gave a broad view of the capabilities of our company. The greatest commitment was the Romeo Ferraris Experience, which gave the opportunity to test the Caterham 485 CSR and the Toyota Yaris GR, showing our activity as a dealer and importer, as well as a department for the preparation of road cars. The apéritif on Friday afternoon, set up together with Delitaly and Tenuta Montemagno, proved to be an excellent opportunity to welcome guests, sponsors, journalists and other prominent figures in a more informal context, and it was equally pleasant that so many children and young people watched in admiration our box and the Giulia ETCR. We hope this opportunity has fueled their passion for motorsport. "
