The Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR by Romeo Ferraris again on the podium in Japan

It has been an intense weekend for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR by Romeo Ferraris cars racing in a number of national series around the world. The bet news came from Japan, with the great results of Shuji Maejima on the wet. In the TCR Japan round at Fuji, the Go&Fun Squadra Corse driver has celebrated two podium finishes: third in Race-1 after a strong recovery following an initial mistake, and second in Race-2 thanks to a great overtake in the closing laps.

Good results also for James Walker in the TC America, where he drives the Giulietta TCR entered by Risi Competizione. In Race-2 at Portland, the American has conquered a closely-fought 5th place that compensates the disappointment lived in Race-1, where he had to retire one minute and half to the end when he was fighting for a podium finish.

Things were more complicated in the TCR Australia for Dylan O’Keeffe and Ashley Seward Motorsport, who had won two races at Phillip Island. At the Bend Motorsports Park, the track in the outskirts of Adelaide, O’Keeffe had to retire in Race-1 when he was among the front-runners, but the points scored in Races 2 and 3 keep him in contention for the 2019 title battle. In TCR Scandinavia, Louise Frost continued her learning curve with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR of Insight Racing. At Falkenberg, in Swedish, the young Dane has narrowly missed the Top-10 in Race-1.
