Passion for mechanics

Talent and creativity of Romeo Ferraris are expressed not only in engine mechanics but also in the art of jewellery watchmaking. The bright lab of Romeo has a unique equipment: Ferraris does not use machinery or electronic devices but only authentic vintage manual equipment, used by only a few watchmakers.

Table Clock

Romeo Ferraris has created a beautiful desktop specimen built in a 80 mm diameter silver case with pilasters on the sides. The clock was produced with the movement “Calibre 262 totalisators Longines pocket of the fifties”, used many years ago by the official timekeepers and guarantee of a complete accuracy.

Firenze

The perfection of the details. The Romeo Ferraris clock series “Firenze” has a unique dial in the world, which consists of two clichés: in the first it is possible to read the hours, minutes and fifths of a second, in the second counters with continuous seconds and snappy minutes movement.

With “Firenze” series, perfection is on the wrist.

Milano

Every copy of Romeo Ferraris Milano is an entirely crafted chronograph, with Valjoux vintage mechanisms, transformed by Mr. Ferraris from a two-button chrono to a single-button coaxial crown, admirable behind the back sapphire glass case. Every detail, like the lancets, the precious crocodile strap, the blue handmade screws ant the dial in true old-fashioned enamel made with a special oven at very high temperatures, are all strictly handmade, making each chronograph born in Romeo’s laboratory a unique product.

Bologna

The mechanism of this clock dates back to 1930 and was made by Valjoux, the maker of the most popular long specialized in chronograph movements. The dial is made in true enamel baked at 820 degrees, glazed sapphire and leather crocodile hand-stitched amaranth: excellence meets perfection of the past.

Romeo Ferraris today can be easily considered the only person in the world who is able to offer to his customers a vintage dial totally in enamel. Another peculiarity of his chronographs is the presence of a single hole on the strap, tailored to the buyer at the moment of the purchase. The unique features of these watches and their manufacture can be read in the article “Romeo Ferraris, l’Artista del tempo” written by Eugenio Zigliotto, an Italian journalist, well known in the automotive industry and with great passion for watches.
